Research Scientist | Digital Twins & AI for Industry

I’m a research scientist at IAM, UTRGV in Texas, working on deploying AI-empowered digital twins in Manufacturing Industry.

My research interests include AI for Manufacturing, Mining Industry,Energy Infrastructure and Robotics. I graduated from ENSA School of Engineering in 2020 and pursued a PhD in Machine Learning between then and 2024 at MAScIR and UCA, focusing on AI and Digital Twin technology for energy efficiency and process optimization in the mining industry.

For three years, I worked with Reminex, MANAGEM Group to develop and deploy innovative AI-based solutions for operational excellence in mining. Prior to my PhD, I gained experience in AI and Internet of Things as a data scientist at UPPA, France.

I founded or co-founded several initiatives including IT Club, TWC, Net3awnou, WAHAJ Media, and served as an international ambassador for Youth for Human Rights International.

Selected Publications

I am interested in the multimodeling of complicated physio-chemical processes through Digital Twins and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on soft sensing deployment. As part of my PhD, I have investigated computer vision and deep neural networks, using supervised machine learning and hybrid feature extraction of complicated flotation processes with physics-based digital twin technology.
